There are 15 bands under the name Avalanche. 1.) Avalanche is Polish rock band. In this band plays: Bartosz Słatyński (vocal / guitar / fiddle), Michał Gołuchowski (bass), Tomek Gołuchowski (guitars), Sebastian Boba (drums). They have released 1 record: "Połączenie" in 2006. 2.) Avalanche is also a Norwegian popduo. Kirsti Johansen (lead vocals / backing vocals), Kjetil Roesnes (Lead vocals / keyboards / guitars / programmings). They have released 2 albums: Avalanche (1990) and Westbound (1992). They are now recording their new AVALANCHE album, planned to be released 2006. 3.) An alias of Yahel Sherman, trance and psytrance producer from Israel. He released several tracks under Avalanche in early 90s and in early 00s. Most successful was 'Friendzone' making its way into Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance top 20 tracks of 2001. 4.) Avalanche was also a Rock band from Australia. 1975 - 1978 They released their self titled album in 1976. 5.) Avalanche is a Finnish local cover-band from Kuopio. 6.) Avalanche is a Dutch folk group. 7.) AVALANCHE is an odd band from Wellington, New Zealand. 8.) AVALANCHE a Melodic Death/Power metal from Gotheborg, Sweden, with members also from Denmark. Formed by members of Dream Evil, Nightrage, Dreamland and Dragonland. http://www.myspace.com/avalanchemetal 9.) Avalanche was a house music producer who released only a handful of tracks on EMI. His most well known tracks are: Acid Attack, Kill Roger! and Goth Bless The Funk. He also releases goth music under the pseudonyms Aleph and Zend Avesta. 10.) Avalanche was a German heavy metal band formed in 1991. They released two albums: Here Comes the King in 1994 and To Be Free in 1999. 11.) A drum and bass DJ from The United States. 12.) A post-hardcore/screamo band from Singapore 13.) A hardcore band from Austria. 14. A Thrash/Groove Metal band from Saint Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota. Formed in 1993 from the ashes of Deathrider and Alliance, they released only one demo in 1994 called Angst and one full-length album in 1996 called Scratching at the Surface. Five guys raised on brutality since childhood. Influences like Slayer, Testament, Forbidden, & Exodus are just a few points of light in an otherwise blackened universe of music. Using this style as a focal point Avalanche has sought out new ways to aggravate an already salted wound. There Relentless riffs and political viewpoints with a groove that can't be ignored. Avalanche; the name itself invokes fear of being crushed to death. The band will do the same. 15.
